Humans of Europe

We want to share the stories of Europe!

Here is Marylisa's story:

🎓 My name is Marylisa and I’m 25. I’m half Italian and half Iranian and I grew up in Italy where I graduated in Political sciences and international relations at Università degli Studi di Perugia. During my bachelor’s, I did my Erasmus exchange in Paris and I ended up loving it so much that I decided to move there and obtain a Master in European and international studies at Sorbonne University.

✨ When in Paris, I had the chance to do an internship at EuropaNova, a think-tank where I worked as a communication manager and an event planner. It was my first professional European experience and it was fantastic to learn day by day something new about this world. Afterwards, I moved to Strasbourg where I carried out a civil service with the Jeunes Européens. I had the great opportunity to be at the heart of the EU decisions, meet MEPs and participate in the EP plenary sessions every month.

🇪🇺 I am currently back in Italy, but I don’t know where I will end up later on. Maybe in Belgium? Maybe in Denmark? Who knows, I don’t really care because I think I would feel at home anywhere in Europe.
